Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional, enthusiastic, and service-driven individual to fill a part-time veterinary technician position at our full-service small animal veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will be organized, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and able to multi-task cheerfully in a fast-paced environment. Previous veterinary technician experience required—certification preferred. Rotating Saturdays and after-hours animal care are a must.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
–patient care and appropriate animal restraint
–blood draws, IV placement, anesthetic intubation, processing of in-house laboratory tests
–radiography
–anesthetic monitoring
–medical charting and logging
–client communication and education
–appropriate cleaning and sterilization
–other duties as needed
