Our History
PetsFirst! Wellness Center started life in 1978 as a satellite veterinary clinic to Bear River Animal Hospital in Tremonton. Dr. LaMar Johnson, DVM, came on staff as veterinarian in 1994 and quickly established a reputation for compassion and quality care.
In 2007, Dr. Johnson purchased the practice and established it as an independent, privately-owned small animal hospital. He renamed it PetsFirst! Wellness Center to demonstrate his commitment to wellness for pets and companion animals.
