Veterinary Practice Manager
Pets First! Wellness Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary
Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing clinic. The ideal
candidate will be a skilled leader with a passion for animal care and a proven track
record in managing a veterinary office.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations: Manage the administrative functions of the veterinary
clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Financial management: Handle billing, invoicing, and accounts
payable/receivable. Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure
financial goals are met.
Human resources: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff. Manage employee
schedules, conduct performance reviews, and address employee relations
issues.
Client relations: Provide exceptional customer service, address client inquiries
and concerns, and ensure a positive client experience.
Inventory management: Manage inventory of medical supplies, medications, and
office supplies. Place orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.
Facility management: Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
Compliance: Ensure the clinic complies with all relevant regulations, including
OSHA, DEA, and state veterinary practice acts.
Marketing and communication: Develop and implement marketing strategies to
attract new clients and retain existing ones. Manage the clinic’s website and
social media presence.
Technology Proficiency: Utilize veterinary practice management software for
scheduling, record-keeping, and billing.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and accounting.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using computers and learning new software as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with marketing and social media management.
Knowledge of human resources practices and regulations.
