PetsFirst! Wellness Center is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our quality team. This position will assist technicians and doctors in the OR as well as exam rooms. Candidates should be professional, friendly, and compassionate, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position (20-29 hours per week) with rotating Saturdays a must.
Candidates should be able to utilize proper animal restraint procedures and complete necessary prep and clean-up for surgery and exams. Candidates should also be adept at completing medical records with attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills and professional attitude are essential. Familiarity with Intravet practice management software and Idexx lab equipment a plus.
